Central Lonsdale. The heart of North Vancouver.
Central Lonsdale is the North Shore's largest neighbourhood and is located along the Lonsdale corridor. Primarily a residential area, it attracts first time home buyers and young families who prefer new townhome living to North Vancouver’s pricier single family homes. Offering the best of all worlds to families and empty nesters, the area offers a slower pace than downtown, but is in close proximity to all amenities and a short walk to Lower Lonsdale's Quay Market and plethera of restaurants and craft beer options. Locals to Central Lonsdale enjoy a new library, Victoria Park, and Lions Gate Hospital which are all located within the community.
Central Lonsdale offers a good selection of cafes, sushi restaurants, and grocery stores. In addition to a Loblaws City Market at East 16th there is a new Whole Foods market at East 13th as well as many smaller Persian and Italian specialty stores for those harder to find, or more authentic grocery items.
